The Master of Public Administration (MPA) and Master of Public Policy (MPP) programs at McGeorge School of Law are among the first of their kind to be offered by a law school, providing students with a unique blend of policy, law, and leadership education. These programs equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in government, non-profit organizations, advocacy groups, and the private sector.

Why Choose McGeorge?

A strong foundation in law, policy, management, and leadership. which ensures students gain competencies in statutory interpretation, regulatory processes, policy development, and public management–all critical to modern governance.

A flexible hybrid format that combines online and in-person instruction. Students attend six to eight in-person Saturday sessions per semester, with the remainder of coursework conducted online in a synchronous format, allowing real-time interaction with professors and classmates.

Specialized concentrations available for a tailored degree:

Public Policy Advocacy
Non-Profit and Social Capacity Management
Policy Analysis (MPA only)

Prime location in California’s Capital—Sacramento—where students can observe and engage with public institutions, legislative bodies, and advocacy organizations shaping state and national policies.
